Artist’s Statement

I regularly exhibit my work that calls for a variety of techniques and reflects my deep concern about natural, hardly visible elements, social and geographic aspects of our environment and the way they relate to one's identity.
The boundary between visible and invisible is the starting point of a work process on memory, its transmission and on perception. How the invisible can be neared from different standpoints of the eye - and how multiple realities can be reflected through images and objects according to the place our gaze settles on.

Bio

Born in Jyväskylä. Has lived for a long time in Montpellier, where she completed her art studies. She settled in France where she has been working as an artist, art teacher and as a conseptor and organizer for the contemporary art association ... A Sa Place. Has also lived and worked since in other European countries as Belgium and Finland.
Has shown her works in personal and collective exhibitions and has organized as well events including other artforms with writers, coreographers and composers in Finland, Belgium, France. Has also participated in international exhibitions in Mexico, China ... Her works can be seen in private and public collections in those countries among others.
Has publiched two project-books with éléments de langage, editor in Brussels.
