Artist’s Statement

I build my works to comment the transitory moments of everyday life using various materials. In the actual work theory evolves to an experience, may it be intellectual, a cultural connotation, a small amused insight or simply a forgotten memory that reaches the surface in a viewers mind. In my doctoral research I study the intertwinement of human and non-human matter and craft as meaning making. The catalyst for my current work and artistic research is multi species art processes.
