Artist’s Statement

I have worked in art field as photoartist, but also as photojournalist; pressphotographer, picture editor and graphic designer.

I have always liked high quality printing and made my own prints, and I have printed art works for several finnish photoartists too, both in silver gelatin method as well as digital pigment methods.

In collaboration with Marja Pirilä we have done many camera obscura projects.

I have studied photography in Lahti 1974-1977 and worked in many workshops. I have been assistant to several foreing photographers in their visit to Finland.
