Artist’s Statement
I am more than a vocal artist and performance maker. The subject picks up the form; sound and performance make my frame of thinking but if the subject wants me to sculpt a three-meter high wooden guy, I sculpt one, and if it wants me to write a book, I write it.
I like DIY aesthetics and making things myself, handicrafts.
I am a soloist who works with others, with great pleasure.
I think that art-making is giving and sharing. In the most concrete way it manifests itself as food, that I’ve cooked in many of my performances.
Believe me or not, but I love to make vocal portraits, still. I’ve made hundreds since 1998.
