Bio

Kati Leinonen is a Finnish photographer and an artist. In her works she uses different photographic techniques as well as video. She has studied photography in London College of Printing and audiovisual media culture in University of Lapland where she is preparing her doctoral thesis on the wet collodion process as a tool for contemporary portrait. She studied wet collodion process with France Scully-Ostermann in Rocherter NY in 2008. Since then she has been using the technique as a tool for portraiture and developing her skills as well as the apparatus.
