JAAKKO TUOMAINEN
born 16.9. 1981 in Iisalmi, lives and works in Lahti.

Jaakko Tuomainen gratuated from Institute of Fine Arts in Lahti University of Applied Sciences in 2009 with main subject of painting. In his thesis he dealt with the art image as part of the mainstream visual culture of today and todays visual collectivism, and as an analysis and critique of them. He is interested in the transformation of personal subject matter into a universally understandable visual performance.
Besides his main line of work, Jaakko Tuomainen ventures in all kinds of murky projects.
