Artist’s Statement
am a watercolor painter and sculptor. In watercolor I am fascinated by its mystery. The resulting image can be subtly controlled but not forced in any direction, the result is always surprising. When I paint, I feal I am not working alone, painting is cooperation, discussion with water and color.
With sculpture it is different, when I start I always know where to go, the material must be chosen accordingly.
