Artist’s Statement
Life and critical observation of phenomena are a part of me, as well as the beauty and harmony of exploration in this raging stream of life.
I am an open mind to the field of art in different areas and techniques: sculpture, bronze, ceramics, mixed media, installations, various natural materials; co-operation proje
ects.
In my production I aim on multilayerd content, giving the viewer a chance to see on their on perspective.
Aesthetics, rhythm, discipline, but on the other hand elements of suprise, go threw the whole of my production.
Taking a stand on the injustice of the world is important to me and typical part of my work.
Also many times Im swept along by old photos of childhood and child-like playfullness. It is something innocent and true.

Current information
Sanna Koivisto spent two months in a residence in 2017. While there, she created a series of works with charcoal and acrylic, and two portrait orders.Currently she is working on an ordered series of works for the Finnish Red Cross.
Ordered works and KulttuuriKauppila in Ii keep the artist busy.
