You can search for an artist either by the first letter of the surname or by entering the whole name of the artist.

You can enter the web page of an artist by clicking his or her name.

These individual pages presenting the artists involved allow you to see images of art works, read artist biographies, and receive information about the places that sell works made by the artist presented. We also provide information about the most significant artists in the history of Finnish art.

The presentations of the deceased artists born in the 20th century have been transferred from the earlier version of the register.

There is a separate section for artists born prior to the year 1900.
